Healthy Living Tips for Men

A lot of the wellness tips out there tend to be focused on women, but guys need to take care of themselves, too! Here are a few tips specifically for men to stay healthy:
Exercise. Although strength training is good, men must do cardiovascular exercise 5 times a week for 30 minutes to reduce their heart disease risk by 50%. As arteries get clogged, the blood supply to vital organs is diminished, which is also why we have an epidemic of erectile dysfunction. More exercise for a life of vitality!
Have a healthy outlet for stress. Get connected spiritually and/or with a good friend so you can unload your mental stress.
Help your prostate. There are easy ways to incorporate good foods for your prostate; increase asparagus, oysters and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Remember to get your annual prostate exam, too!
Take care of your structure. Your spine will support you as you age if you take good care of it; it can be the source of a lot of pain if you don’t. Get some preventative spinal care at your lifestyle chiropractor!
