What Can We Learn From Michael Jackson?
July 15, 2009
No matter what you think of Michael you cannot deny that he was one of the greatest entertainers and philanthropists of our time and possibly all time. What happened to him was a result of many factors including the use of prescription drugs to numb pain. The sad and very scary fact is that millions of people are addicted to prescription drugs like these and will die just like Michael. One of the biggest questions is “How can we prevent this??” We need to begin changing our THOUGHTS first.
We are absolutely not medicine bashers- medical care has a time and a place- but medicating for years and years with no plan to get off the meds is not the solution for our health challenges. Once you begin down the path of medicating for sleep, depression, anxiety,( you can add in your own symptom) there are always side effects and then perhaps you decide to medicate for the side effects, and on and on and on. Then you are on a path that is very difficult to get off.
The change has to begin with our THOUGHTS, does true health and healing come from a pill, potion or lotion? Or does the POWER that made the body HEAL the body? What do you think?
