What Is Back Pain?
July 27, 2009
Most people will experience an episode of back pain throughout their lifetime. Does this make it normal? Definitely not, it makes it common. People show up at our office to “get rid of the pain”. Not only will we help you with this but also help you figure out why it happened in the first place and how to prevent it next time! When the body gives us pain signals, it is always for a reason. Pain has some vital functions and we should pay attention.
Most back pain is the result of accumulated stress on the body – the straw on the camel’s back. As your body is healing, we encourage you to examine the “load” you have placed on your body. Your body will release the back pain when it has healed and the blocks to your healing are removed. The good news is that chiropractic adjustments will remove the blocks to your body’s natural healing and restore proper functioning!
While it is true that back pain may resolve on its own, if you never examine the accumulated stress on your body that has caused the problem initially, you can look forward to the pain returning and becoming a chronic problem for you. Please call us so that we can help you today!

i have backpains after work. what i do is get some relaxing massage and yoga.’..
Andrea, those are great strategies! We love yoga and massage as well! Often, back pain can indicate an ongoing problem that’s deeper that only a doctor of chiropractic can address.
i have some slight back pain and stretching helps a bit to reduce its severity**~
Yes Hannah, glad to hear stretching is helping! It’s always great to work on the soft tissue and if that begins to become an ongoing challenge for you, I would get to a chiropractor in your area as soon as you can!
I’m continually searching on the internet for ideas which will help me. Thanks a lot!
