Regenerative Medicine
If you suffer from a serious injury or degenerative condition that’s holding you back from doing what you want, regenerative medicine may be the solution you need.
At Rozenhart Family Chiropractic, we provide regenerative medicine treatments that include human cellular tissue therapy and platelet-rich fibrin therapy. These treatments can help heal and restore damaged tissue at the source.
We use regenerative medicine as a safe and effective alternative to risky surgeries and potentially dangerous pain medications.
Injuries and conditions we treat with regenerative medicine include:
- Arthritis
- Osteoporosis
- Tendonitis
- Bursitis
- Ligament damage
- Cartilage damage
- Torn labrum
- Torn rotator cuff
- Sprains and strains
- Plantar fasciitis
- Osteoarthritis
- Degenerative joint disease
Regenerative Medicine Containing Human Cellular Tissue Products
Human cellular tissue injections can help heal and restore damaged tissue at the source.
These treatments address the underlying cause of your painful condition and help your body heal the issue that’s causing the pain.
The cells we use for our human cellular tissue therapy are sourced from accredited tissue banks. The tissue is derived from the Wharton’s Jelly of umbilical cords that willing mothers have donated after a scheduled C-section birth.
This tissue is youthful and powerful, containing potent healing compounds such as:
- Growth factors
- Proteins
- Hyaluronic acid
- Cytokines
- Exosomes
- Lipids
- Peptides
- Collagen
- Amino acids
The procedure itself is minimally invasive, consisting of basic injections into the damaged tissue. Most of the time, there is little to no downtime after the appointment, so you can get on with your day like normal.
Platelet-Rich fibrin (PRF)
PRF therapy is the other regenerative treatment we use at our clinic.
This treatment also addresses the underlying cause of your pain and works with your body to facilitate healing, and it is a somewhat cheaper alternative to human cellular tissue therapy.
Platelet-rich fibrin is created when we place a small sample of your blood into a centrifuge, where it spins at high speed to separate the red blood cells and platelets. Once the PRF is ready, it is injected into your damaged or degraded tissue to stimulate healing and help relieve your pain.
Like human cellular tissue therapy, PRF therapy is minimally invasive and requires little to no downtime, making it an ideal alternative to surgery or medication.
