Stem Cell Therapy
If you’re looking for information about stem cell therapy, you’ve come to the right place. The term stem cell therapy refers to regenerative medicine treatments using stem cells from your own body or from a close family member. There are two types of stem cell therapy, which are bone marrow and adipose.
At Rozenhart Family Chiropractic, we do not perform these treatments. Instead, we provide pain relief treatments that use Wharton’s Jelly-derived regenerative cell tissue. This treatment is not considered stem cell therapy, but they are an effective solution for pain caused by a wide range of different injuries and degenerative conditions.

Types of Stem Cell Therapy
There are essentially two different types of stem cell therapy available on the market, which are adipose tissue and bone marrow.
Adipose tissue refers to fat tissue, and this form of stem cell therapy extracts cells from your fat tissue to inject into the damaged area to promote healing and pain relief. One issue with this type of treatment is that our fat cells contain toxins, and if any of these toxins get into the treatment, you could end up with a negative result.
Bone marrow therapy has been used for quite some time. However, it also has its limitations. The procedure itself is quite invasive. The doctor has to drill into the bone to gain access to the bone marrow. This opens the patient up to the risk of infection, and there is a healing process that has to occur afterward.
Both of these types of stem cell therapies also use cells that have aged right along with the patient. They may have lost many of their healing properties. That’s not to say either treatment can’t be effective. These concerns are worth noting before making a final decision.
Human Cellular Tissue Products We Offer for Pain Relief
Our preference is to use donated human cellular tissue that is youthful and vibrant and has not aged with the patient.
We source tissue from accredited tissue banks after umbilical cords have been donated by willing mothers after a scheduled C-section birth. Both the mother and baby are perfectly fine throughout the process.
The tissue contains high-powered healing compounds that work with your body’s own natural healing mechanism. It helps to resolve the cause of your pain by regenerating and repairing damaged tissue.
The procedure itself is quick and minimally invasive. Most patients are in and out the same day.
There is little to no pain involved, with little to no risk of infection. There’s also virtually no chance of rejection. The components contained in the injections are still so new and potent.
Whichever type of pain relief you choose, be sure to take the time to go over your options. Make the decision that’s right for you.
